Ivory Leonard IV graduated from Florida A&M University Magna Cum Laude in Theatre Performance and concentration in Dance. After graduation, he trained with renown dance company PHILADANCO “The Philadelphia Dance Company” and has been a full time performer since. Leonard is also a recipient of Best Actor in a Musical for the role of Richie Walters in A Chorus Line. In the Summer of 2020, he founded his company Sankofa1619, LLC, in which he directs, produces, and writes his own films. One of his films, Identity: Absently Present premiered in Middle Coast Film Festival where he was Nominated for Best Actor in a Short.
Director Statement
My hope is that my work leaves an imprint. That not only the dreamers believe tha
